This article describes how to set up auto-ordering StockIQ. A user must have Admin permissions to complete the following actions
1.) Enable Auto Ordering
Go to the Global Ordering Settings screen, and enable auto ordering. Configure the notification and trigger options to your liking.
2.) Tell StockIQ what Supplier --> Site Combinations for which you want to auto-order
You will only want to configure certain supplier & site combinations for auto-ordering. Common examples include hub warehouse transfers out to the branches, or certain import suppliers ordering into a central hub on a regular schedule.
Tell StockIQ which of these combinations you want by using the Vendor Schedule Overrides screen. Define the Order schedule, and then configure the rules that the auto-ordering logic should use for that order schedule.
That's all there is to it! Auto ordering will run according to the schedule you define, and an automated email will be sent to the recipients defined in your Global Ordering Settings each time the auto-ordering is run.
