Summary
The Global Ordering Settings screen allows you to configure settings related to order review and order notification.
Grid Options
User Order Notification List
This is a list of email addresses that should be notified any time a buyer places an order into "Review" status rather than being Approved, such as when they have maximum dollar limits configured. You can enter multiple addresses, separated by a semicolon. See the Reviewing Orders topic.
User Order Notification Type
This defines how the list of contacts above should be notified, either immediately when the order is placed, or a digest that is emailed out at a certain time.
Auto Ordering Enabled
StockIQ supports automated release of orders through the Place Orders screen according to a schedule that you define. Setting up which supplier/sites have an order schedule with auto-ordering configured is done in the Settings --> Overrides --> Vendor Schedule Overrides screen.
The Auto Ordering Enabled flag is a global master switch that turns on (or off) all auto-ordering. The most common use-case for this is if you wish to disable auto-ordering for a period, such as during a brief holiday.
Auto Order Notification List
Defines who is notified after the auto-orders have completed running. A report of all supplier/site combinations evaluated is emailed, as well as information about what orders were placed, skipped, sent to review according to auto-ordering rules, and so on.
Auto Order Line Status
Defines if auto-orders are placed directly into the ERP as approved, or held for review.
Auto Order Trigger Type
Auto-Ordering can be configured to automatically trigger at the end of your first refresh of the day, e.g. early in the morning before people arrive, or it can be set to trigger at a certain time of day that you specify.
Auto Order Time
Defines the time of day that the auto-ordering will be run, if the trigger type is set to a certain time of day.
