How can I set the time zone in StockIQ so that dates and times appear properly?

This article describes how to change the time zone in StockIQ. Only users with the Admin role can perform the following actions. 

This can be done in two ways: by setting the system time zone and/or setting time zone for individual users. 

System Time Zone

1. Go to Settings --> System Configuration --> Global Date Settings
2. Select the system time zone that you would like to use. 
3. Click Save, and the system time zone will be set.

NOTE: When left blank, this defaults to whatever time zone for which the StockIQ application server is set.

IMPORTANT: This setting is particularly important for users on UTC or in the eastern hemisphere, due to technical reasons with how dates are translated in StockIQ.

User Time Zone

Users who are sitting in time zones different from the main company will want to override and set their own time zone value. 

1. Go to Admin--> Users
2. Select the user
3. Select their time zone in the select box
4. Click Save.
