Major Improvements & Features
- Sales Order Fulfillment & Backorder Alert - The lightweight "Available to Promise" logic in the open sales orders screen, which predicts how you will be able to fill a given demand is now tied into the Backorder alert, making you aware of when it looks like you will not be able to fill an order, before that problem happens. The fulfillment logic can also be extended to look for inventory that can be grabbed from another location, or from an un-shipped PO, or even to give you a fulfillment date based on if you placed an emergency PO today.
- Shared Component Allocation Checks and Wizard - When ordering for finished goods in Place Orders, it can be the case that you have multiple finished goods that share a common component. StockIQ will now check to see if your proposed order will over-allocate any given common/shared components and warn if this is the case with red flags and messages in the GUI. Additionally, a new context-menu option to view "Component Allocation" is in the Place Orders screen. The Allocation Wizard can be invoked to auto-solve these constraints based on most-needed finished goods.
- Split Lines - This context-menu option in the Place Orders screen allows you to take an existing order line and split it into multiple lines that you can then modify such as by quantity or different arrival dates.
- Component Plan to Manufacturing LT only - In some situations with finished good assembly, not all components must be in place at the start of lead time. If there is significant admin lead time delays, such as in order firm-fence requirements at co-manufacturers, StockIQ can be configured to plan dependent forecast such that your components only need to arrive when the manufacturing of the finished good would begin, not its overall end-to-end lead time.
- Container Loading Unique ID Assignment - When doing container loading, StockIQ will now assign a unique container ID identifier that can be passed into your ERP, so that orders can be grouped by their intended container if necessary.
- Container Loading By Ship Window - container loading now has the ability to group rows in your order by a "shipping window" derived from their manufacturing time. This ensures that the logical/planned container loads are sensible based on the lead time of the products grouped together.
