Major Improvements & Features
- Refreshed User Interface - This update brings a long awaited set of changes as we updated the library of user interface widgets. This includes several frequently requested features, such as:
- Grid column drag/resizing - dragging column widths now expands that column and widens the whole grid rather than shrinking the column next to it.
- Mouse wheel scroll - the mouse wheel now scrolls only the list or grid you're looking at, not the whole SIQ window.
- Percent Boxes - Boxes where you enter percentages now make this clear with a "%" sign, instead of the previously confusing ".xx" nomenclature
- Grid Column Search - Search for the column you want using a small search box in the grid column chooser
- Combined System Configuration & Overrides - We've combined the "System Configuration" and "Overrides" screen into one searchable grid, to avoid confusion over where to go for what setting, and to make it easier to find what you're looking for as the number of options increases.
- Brand New Edit Forecast editor - following another frequent request, we have refactored the "Edit Forecasts" grid in Forecast Manager to be a "left-to-right" style year-over-year grid with spreadsheet style editing that you can tab between and see on one screen without lots of scrolling.
Minor Improvements
- Add available quantity as option for Executive Summary
- Improve ease-of-use on customer and customer-ship-to search boxes in settings screens
- Change shipments-based service level calculator to ignore system-generated pending demand records
- Change slow movers to be based on available instead of on hand.
- New settings screens for Forecast Settings and Seasonality Settings in System Configuration so you can see *all* items that have forecast setting and seasonality setting overrides
- Add ERP Safety Stock values to Inventory --> Safety Stock report.
- Improve classing logic to use rolling 12 months instead of 12 month buckets to allow items to re-class properly over the course of the month as they are introduced, versus waiting for beginning of next month.
- Add warning to Review Orders screen if make changes to order and do not save them.
Bug Fixes
- Items can be shown as dead if they have activity in current and future periods only
- Usage Pattern calculator does not consider future open demands when deciding if an item is dead
- Writing transfer order to GP can fail if do not have a UoM specified in GP
- Some summary totals not working in Place Orders order line grid
- Firm & Planned does not include orders in "Review" and "Confirm" status
- ItemCode with mismatched casing between SalesOrder and ItemSite feed can cause import of those sales orders to fail
- Misc Customer Analysis screen fixes
- Revenue/Margin can be wrong when exporting from Forecast Analysis with *only* event sourced quantities
- Export from Place Orders fails on second try
- Current Period data not shown if don't have snapshot from exact first of month
- Fix missing migrations of settings from old to new items in part replacements - forecast settings, seasonality settings, algorithm settings, etc.
- Fix possible error message if load Edit Customer Forecasts box without first loading the Summary chart tab.
- Converting monthly --> weekly forecast does not convert revenue and cogs properly
- Lower grid of Review Orders not saved in saved views
