This article describes how to update dates and numbers for culture and region. Only users with the Admin role can perform these steps.
There are two settings commonly used to localize your StockIQ Installation - Culture, and Currency.
System Default Currency & Culture Localization
To set the default culture and currency for your StockIQ installation
- Go to the Settings --> System Configuration --> Global System Settings page
- Select the "Default Culture / Localization" option.
- If desired, set the default currency using its ISO standard currency code, e.g. USD, CAD, GBP, EUR, etc.
- Click save, and these default settings will be saved and applied as necessary by StockIQ.
IMPORTANT: Not all cultures come pre-installed with StockIQ. If you receive a message that this culture is not available, then contact StockIQ support and we can include it in a subsequent release.
User Culture Overrides
You may have different users in different parts of the world, and as such, you can set individual user culture settings to their preference in the Admin--> Users screen.
- Select the user
- Select the desired culture for that user, and numbers, dates, etc. for that user
