This article describes how to configure the the Inventory --> On Hand Detail screen to show you data such that it compares year-over-year. Any user with permissions for the Inventory module can perform the following actions
- Click the “Display” button, and select the "Historical" checkbox only, and your interval, such as "Monthly". Click OK
- Click the "Filters" button, and select the periods you want to compare, such as the month of March, and years 2018 and 2019. Click OK.
- The resulting values will be on-hand snapshots just for 3/1/18 and 3/1/2019 (or whatever time periods you have selected to compare.
NOTE: If you want to compare your current period to the same period last year, you can use the Period-To-Date screen and this is shown automatically.
