Definition
The NewItem Alert will notify you when new items are in excess and may need new manual forecasts or when new items currently have no manual forecast.
The goal is to help identify, in an automated way, how new items should be managed/adjusted within StockIQ.
The main screen for the NewItem alert is the New Items screen. You can see alert priority definitions by selecting the Alerts button in the top right of the New Items screen.
Item age for 'new' items is controlled in the Inventory Limits settings screen.
