Summary
To add a new forecast for a recently created item-site, or to add a forecast for a new customer that will be buying your item, use the Add Item Forecasts window in StockIQ.

Steps/Process
Step 1: What would you like to do?
- In this first step, tell StockIQ what you want to do - are you adding forecasts to an item that has never been forecasted before, or adding a new customer forecast group to an item already being forecasted?
TIP: If you're adding forecasts to a brand new item, you can have StockIQ search inactive items as well as active ones using the "Include Inactive Items?" checkbox.
Step 2: Select Items
- In step 2, a list of item-sites will be shown depending on your inputs from Step 1. Select the item(s) you want to add using the checkbox column.
Step 3: Select Forecast Groups
- Select the forecast group(s) you want to add. If you are item-centric, you will just see the "All Customers" group. If you are hybrid or customer-centric in your forecasting, you will see a list of customers and forecast groups.
- Select the ones you want, and when you click Next, StockIQ will begin adding these to the forecast hierarchy.
TIP: If you wait until the dialog is complete and turns green before closing the window, StockIQ will immediately refresh the hierarchy window for you.
Step 4: Use Editor to Save a Forecast
- Follow Edit Button to Show Grid or Forecast Wizard Saving Forecasts – StockIQ Technologies
