For some, warehouse capacity issues may need to be factored into Supply Planning. With that in mind, StockIQ supports warehouse zone capacity tracking while placing new orders. Once data surrounding the warehouse zone capacity and usage from the ERP have been loaded into StockIQ, you can find columns within the Column Chooser in Place Orders Step 2 to ensure new orders do not surpass warehouse zone capacity limits.
Warehouse Zone Capacity Columns in Place Orders Step 2
- Warehouse Zone- Name of associated warehouse zone
- Current Zone % Usage- How much of the associated zone is already in use
- Prj Zone % Usage- The projected usage of the associated zone in respect to the suggested order quantity
Additionally, there's a validation check in Step 3 of Place orders that measures your capacity for all the arrival dates of your lines in your order to ensure you didn't miss any lines that could surpass warehouse zone capacity
If you have data in your ERP for warehouse capacity and you'd like to use these features, please reach out to StockIQ Support
