Summary
The Supplier Calendar Overrides screen allows you to create an override to your default calendar of Supplier Holidays.
It is accessible in Admin --> System Configuration --> Supplier Calendar Overrides
If you wish to set defaults, use the Default Supplier Calendar instead.
Column Description
To create a new supplier calendar override, click the "New" button. A new entry will be created for you in the grid.
If you wish to edit an existing entry, simply click it in the grid, and the details will be shown in the form at the right-hand side of the screen.
- Supplier- The supplier for which you are creating the override calendar.
- Saturday Workday? - Indicates if Saturday is considered a workday, e.g. if the site is open to order, receive, and ship product.
- Sunday Workday? - As above, or Sunday.
- Reduce Forecast For Holidays - Tells StockIQ if replenishment forecast should be reduced in expectation of the holiday, or if the demand expected for a normal month should just be placed on the other open days of the month. (this is not a common option)
Additionally, once you have checked these options, use the displayed to add/remove holidays from your list of holidays.
To add a holiday, double-click a date. Type the name of your holiday and the dates during which the holiday is going on, and click OK.
Repeat this until your calendar is complete, then hit the "Save" button in the top-right of the screen.
Cloning
If you have many suppliers that will use the same calendar, the best approach is to set that up using the Default Supplier Calendar. If this is not possible, then you can create one supplier calendar, and then clone it.
- Create the first example of your supplier calendar, and click save.
- Click on its entry in the grid, and click "Clone"
- Select the other suppliers for which you want the calendar to be used, and click "Clone"
- The new calendar records will be created
- IMPORTANT: Any existing calendars for the suppliers you select will be overwritten.
