Through customer support questions, new implementations, and discussions with customers, we hear a lot of great ideas from our customers that we attempt to incorporate into StockIQ.
Each request is kept in what's known as a development backlog. Each time we get a new request, if it seems like a generally applicable feature of good value to the customer base as a whole, we add it to the backlog, and note the customer who asked for the feature.
Each time we hear something that looks like an existing backlog request, we add the name to that feature. As an existing feature accumulates more and more names, it becomes clear that this is a general need, and requests of this type are moved up the backlog.
more specialized, or one-off requests with more limited interest tend to float towards the bottom. At current writing, there are around 600 total items in the backlog.
Sponsored Development
If you have particular requests that are key for you and your organization, and they still seem to fall under that description of "generally applicable feature of good value to many people", then you can work with us at StockIQ to generate a quote for sponsoring development of this feature, in order to jump to the front of the line and get priority for your request.
Please contact support if you would like to investigate this approach, and we'll work with you to make a plan.
