This screen is for linking your StockIQ instance to your organization's single-sign-on provider.
At present, only Azure Entra (formerly known as Azure AD) is supported, but other ODATA compatible providers such as Okta are expected soon.
There are only a few values to provide:
- Is Enabled - Indicates if you wish to use the SSO settings or turn them off and fall back to the traditional username/password combination provided by StockIQ.
- Name - A short, memorable name for your settings, this doesn't affect anything however it can be useful to give the name that you set up for your connection within your IDP (Entra, Okta, etc.)
-
Authority - The URL of your IDP provider, this will often times include something like a tenant ID or org ID which indicates your IDP instance.
- Entra Example: https://login.microsoftonline.com/v2/{YOUR-TENANT-ID}
- Okta Example: https://{YOUR-ORG-ID}.okta.com/oauth2/default
- Issuer - Often times this value is the same as the Authority, however for certain IDPs and in certain IDP configurations it can differ. You must verify the issuer within your IDP configuration at set up time.
- Client ID - The client ID from your app registration in your IDP.
IMPORTANT: Please contact StockIQ before configuring these values, as this has a significant effect on any pre-existing local user accounts.
