Grid Descriptions
Home
The home tab brings together the most important things to look at. Each grid shows the top 5 most important items to address in each category.
At the top are inventory over time and turns over time charts, along with some stats about on hand, your current safety, target, and max stock recommendations.
Below the top charts are six grids of data, each of which is borrowed from one of the following tabs:
- Critical Orders - orders that you must place as soon as possible to avoid stock outs
- Stockouts - current stockouts, prioritized by the amount of lost sales per day.
- Projected Stockouts - items projected to stock out unless you expedite an order
- Under Forecast - items being under forecasted (which could result in stock outs)
- Over Forecast - dramatically over-forecasted items
- Projected Excess - Items projected to be in excess unless you cancel or delay orders.
In each case, you can right-click on an entry to see details, suspend the message, and so on. As you work on the top items, the list will update with the next most important items for each section.
The status bubbles at the top show your overall counts of high, medium, and low priority warnings, along with the number of each type that you have suspended:
Inventory
Charts and Grids with important information on your inventory position are shown in this tab.
The top charts display stockouts over time, both in terms of count and percentage, as well as similar information for Excess and New items. Alerts for your top items in each category are shown in the grids below.
Use the context menu to suspend or ignore these, and/or open a new window to see details.
The second row contains dead stock counts and alerts, service level alerts, and a safety stock variance alert.
Finally, for those doing lot tracking, the inventory expirations alert and chart show upcoming inventory expirations.
Forecast
In this tab, the forecast chart for your whole organization is shown at the top, and next to it, a chart of lost sales over time.
The next four grids are your forecast-related alerts. Your import important alert here is the Under Forecasted alert.
Purchase
This tab has 5 grids of purchasing-related alerts. Projected Stockouts is your most important here, as is the Critical Orders grid (also seen on the Home tab)
Supply
A large chart at the top shows your incoming supplies, in quantity and in value.
Your late supply orders alert calls out late supplies, and the large min/mult box calls out the worst offenders on your supplier side.
Sales
At the top of this tab are two grids of alerts - backorder/unfullfilled sales orders, and unusual sales.
The next rows show some summary charts with year-to-date order information and order values over time.
