The substitutes wizard is a small wizard for applying multiple substitute recommendations at once from the Place Orders screen, step 2.
It is accessed by clicking the Edit --> Substitutes Wizard when in Place Orders.
The wizard is a simple 2-step wizard. Load it
Configure Wizard
The first step has a few simple selections:
- Substitute Type - What is the type of substitute to look for and operate on? Site, Vendor, etc.
- Complete Subs Only? - Tells the wizard if it is only allowed to use substitutes that are complete replacements of the original order line, or not.
- Recommended Subs Only? - Tells the wizard if it can only use substitutes that have the recommended (star) icon on them.
Results
In step 2, you can see the results of the wizard.
In the "Results" tab, you will see the modified order lines, with the new supplier, site, quantity, or suggestion.
The "Changes" tab shows what modifications were made by taking the substitutes, including if no change could be made for a given order line.
Click "Apply Changes" to apply the new order lines back into your order.
