Summary
The stratification detail screen provides details about your ABC and XYZ classes.
ABC / XYZ Matrix Tab
When you first open the screen, a matrix of ABC vs XYZ is shown in different colors.
- Cyan - These are high performing items that are high value to your business.
- Yellow - These are starting to be more suspect
- Red - These are low-performing and/or highly variable items that might be costing you more money than they are worth.
- Blue - Not enough data is available, e.g. new items, or items with no history etc.
In each area, the matching item count, on hand value, hits, and quantity for classing are shown. These will respond to any filters that you set using the filters button.
You can click any one of the colored areas to be taken to the Item Details section, filtered to that combo of ABC / XYZ already.
Item Details Section Tab
This tab shows the details, getting into the nitty-gritty. The main focus of this screen is the Stratification Detail Grid.
Clicking on a grid entry also shows for you some additional information in the bottom half of the screen.
Both of these tabs have the goal of helping you determine if the product needs to be preserved (or not) since an important customer is (or is not) purchasing it.
Detail Tabs
Customer Detail
The customer detail tab shows customer detail for who has purchased this product in the last 12 months.
- Customer - Customer code
- Customer Name - Customer Name
- Qty Sold - Qty sold over the last 12 months
- COGS - COGS for those sales
- Revenue - Revenue for those sales
- Annualized Margin - Margin for those sales
- Annualized Hits - # of sales to this customer
Sales Order Detail
Shows individual sales order detail for this item over the last 12 months.
Forecast Chart
A forecast summary trend chart as shown in Forecast Manager.
