Summary
The Sporadic Items screen provides information about the item-sites in which StockIQ has identified as having a Sporadic usage pattern. Sporadic items are often hard to predict and forecast, so this report is meant to help you identify and keep track of those items. Settings related to Sporadic Items can be found in the Global Inventory Limits screen
Column Description
- Item - the item that is considered Sporadic.
- Site - the site at which this item is being evaluated.
- Description - the item description.
- Order Policy - the active order policy for this item.
- Safety Stock - the active safety stock quantity for this item.
- Buyer Name - the name of the buyer, if applicable.
- ABC - the ABC class for this item.
- XYZ - the XYZ class for this item, often representative of the item-site's Usage Pattern.
- On Hand Qty - the current on-hand quantity for this item at this location, in units.
- On Hand Balance - the on-hand quantity of the item monetized using the item-site's standard cost.
- Last Sale Date - the last date on which this item was sold at the given location.
- Historical Daily Usage - recent historical daily usage; see the Daily Usage help article for more on how this is calculated.
Context Menu
When you right-click on a row in the grid view, will have the following options:
- Inventory Snapshot - provides item-site attribute information.
- Forecast Chart - a visual of the item-site forecast, this is the same as what you would see in the Forecast Manager.
- Sawtooth Chart - the sawtooth diagram for this item-site.
- Item-Site Notes - allows you to view or add an item-site note that are on this item.
