The Under forecasted Alert will notify you when your historical (or current period) forecasts are below your actual independent demand by more than your specified parameters in any particular period. The goal is to help identify, in an automated way, when you have months or weeks where something unusual may have occurred, and therefore needs manual adjustment or human insight in the form of an Event or some other adjustment.
The main screen for the Under Forecasted alert is the Underforecasted Screen
Some of the tolerances and settings, such as how far back to test can be found in the Global Demand Forecast Settings screen.
The under forecasted alert settings control when you see alerts for this message
