Summary
The Tournament results dialog popup shows details about the results of running the algorithm tournament. It is accessible from the "Tournament" algorithm settings panel in Forecast Manager.
Tournament Results
At the top left is the tournament results, showing each algorithm, the description of the winning settings for that algorithm, and the error achieved. The overall grand champion is designated with a star.
The expected error of the current model fitted to the current data is shown, along with the error of the backdated model vs current actuals (the test results), which will usually be somewhat higher than the current backdated error.
Click on a particular algorithm to see the settings used by its winning configuration.
To the right is a chart of those error values presented in graphical format, one each for the current and backdated values.
Lastly, at the bottom is a chart showing your actuals, and the models resulting from each algorithm's configuration, so you can visualize the differences between each. You can choose current or backdated displays.
