Definition
The Backorders Alert will notify you when open sales orders are late and whether or not you have enough inventory/open supplies to fill those backorders. The goal is to help identify, in an automated way, whether there needs to be additional supply planning in order to complete backorders. The main screen for the Backorders alert is the Open Sales Orders screen.
The Backorders Settings control when you see alerts for the Backorders alert messages.
- Min Dollars- What is the minimum late dollar value for which you want to be alerted
