The Critical Order Alert will notify you when you orders that must be placed to prevent out-of-stock or low stock situations.
The goal is to help identify, in an automated way, when you have orders that need to be placed in the near term, the range for which you can set in the settings. Typically you might start to receive the alert warning 5 days out.
The main screen for the Critical Order alert is the Place Orders screen.
You can find settings for this alert by clicking the Alerts button in the Place Orders screen. You can also see alert priority definitions here. The priorities are based on how important it is to get that order placed, and they are sorted by how far negative (or how low) the projected on hand balance is.
The Critical Order Settings control when you see alerts for the Critical Order alert messages.
- # Days forward to check- Specify how many days forward you want this alert to check for launch orders signals (0 = Today). Default is 5 days.
