Definition
The notion of a Site Group allows you to create meaningful groups of warehouses, typically by some geographic delineation.
For example, you may wish to create a group called "USA Warehouses" or "Northeast", or even "All Warehouses"
Site Groups provide the ability to view your inventory in useful aggregates to answer questions such as "Am I excess in North America?" or "Do I have enough in this region to avoid a new purchase order?"
New columns to help with this are included in the Stockouts screen, Excess screen, and Place Orders Grid.
NOTE: Configuring Site Groups is done via a new data extract, so contact StockIQ if you wish to add this to your instance of StockIQ.
