Applies To
Clients who have site holidays, typically used for longer site holidays like Christmas and New years.
Process
StockIQ allows you to provide the tool with information about holidays you expect at your Sites. Normally, these are times when your warehouse will be closed, such as major holidays like Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving, etc.
The assumptions made by StockIQ on your holidays are as follows:
- There is no demand: No forecasted demand is placed on these days, as nobody is there to service it.
- No Supply Orders are placed: StockIQ does not schedule release of any PO's on a Site holiday, since there's nobody there to place them.
- No Supply Orders are received: Nor does StockIQ schedule receipt of any supply orders on a Site holiday, since nobody is there to receive the order.
You can configure these holidays using the Default Site Calendar, and configure individual site holiday schedules using the Site Calendar Overrides screen.
